Snowman trek of Bhutan is considered the world’s toughest and most difficult treks. The trek starts in the Paro Valley from Drukgyel Dzong (2580 meters) and trek to the remote regions of northern Bhutan. Altogether it takes 24 days to complete the trek starting from Paro. But the trek can be made shorter by cutting 4 days if started from Punakha. For beginners and those who do not have trekking experience, this trek isn’t recommended. Trekking the snowman route one has to pass through some of the highest passes of Bhutan like Gangla Karchung at 5,230 meters, Jaze La at 5,251 meters, Loju La at 5,155 meters and Rinchenzoe at 5,332 meters.
