Your 3 Nights 4 Days Bhutan Tour starts with a scenic flight into the lush green Paro valley. En-route flight one can witness magnificent views of the world’s highest peaks including Mt. Everest in a clear weather. As you land Paro International Airport, the first gift from Bhutan will be the cool, clean fresh air as you step out of the plane. After clearing customs and visa issue, your guide shall meet you outside the airport and drive to Thimphu - the tiny capital. (1 hour+ drive) PM: Lunch/Free to explore Thimphu town on your own or rest at the hotel. Afterwards, back to hotel. Overnight Hotel (Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, go for Thimphu sightseeing visiting cultural & historical sites like 'National Memorial Chorten' with its golden spines shining in the sun which was built in honor of third King of Bhutan, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Then drive up to 'Buddhas' point' with a biggest statue of Lord Buddha located atop hill with great view of Thimphu city. Then follows Motithang Mini-Zoo (home of the bizarre Takin, the national animal), the Weekly Centenary Farmers' Market with local produces (Friday, Saturday & Sunday). Afterwards, trace the same route back to Paro & check-in hotel. In the evening, stroll around Paro town observing it's daily lives, market places etc. Overnight Hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
In the morning, drive to the base camp of Taktsang to start the hike up to the Taktsang monastery (Tiger’s nest). It's an hour hike to the cafeteria which is a good view point from where enjoy the stunning view of the monastery. It's believed Guru Padmasambhava landed on the back of a tigress in the 8th century here and mediated. Hike further up to the monastery & explore around. Then hike downhill to the road point and drive to visit 'Kyichu Lhakhang', one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. In the evening is free to explore the main street of Paro.
